Victoria RESCA Awards Ceremony
Join us for an evening that honours emergency services personnel from across Victoria, alongside their families, colleagues, sponsors, Rotary members and community leaders. The ceremony is a formal yet warm celebration of service, courage and community spirit.

Date: Saturday 29th August 2026
Time: Guest arrival from 6:00 pm, formal proceedings from 6:30 pm to approximately 10:00 pm.
Venue: Greenacres Golf Club

The Victoria RESCA awards ceremony brings together finalists, their families and supporters, representatives from emergency services agencies, sponsors, Rotary members and community leaders. The event provides an overview of the awards and scholarship program plus a presentation from a past ESF scholarship recipient
Recognises 'Finalists' from each agency (one paid and one volunteer -where applicable).
Announces Two Major Winners: Rotary Victoria Emergency Service  Officer of the Year Serving in a Volunteer capacity and Rotary Victoria  Emergency Service Officer of the Year Serving in a Paid capacity will be  announced at the event.
The two Major winners will be invited to the  National event in Canberra in October where they will be judged against  the winners from other states for the National awards..

Overall dress code: The awards ceremony is a formal to semi-formal evening event. Smart cocktail, lounge suit or equivalent attire is recommended for most guests.

Uniformed personnel: Emergency services personnel are welcome and encouraged to attend in their appropriate service uniform, as guided by their agency. Medals and honours may be worn in line with your organisation’s protocol.

Cultural dress: Guests are warmly invited to wear respectful cultural or traditional dress if they wish.

Badges and insignia: Please follow your agency’s guidelines for the wearing of badges, insignia and decorations. If you are uncertain, speak with your supervisor or protocol officer prior to the event.

Finalists will receive information about how many guests they can bring and how to register them. Additional tickets are available for sponsors, agencies and partners.

The ceremony is a formal evening event. Older children and teenagers are welcome at the discretion of their parent or guardian. Please consider the late finish time and seating arrangements when deciding.

The venue offers step-free access and accessible facilities. Please let us know any mobility, hearing, vision or other support needs when you RSVP so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Guests are welcome to take personal photos, provided they do not disrupt the proceedings or block aisles. Official photographers may also be present. Please respect any instructions from event staff regarding photography during formal moments. You are very welcome to share on social media

From time to time, accredited media or communications staff may attend to capture stories and images. If you have concerns about photography or media, please speak with the event team on arrival or contact us beforehand.

We aim to cater for common dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal. Please include any dietary needs when you purchase your tickets so we can advise the venue.

Yes. Please bring your booking confirmation (printed or on your phone) to assist with check-in on arrival.
